Autonomous Ground Vehicle Research (AGVR)

Purpose::
The robot for this project was first designed by a mechanical engineering senior design team at NDSU, and the incorporated electronics were designed by an electrical engineer senior design team from the university as well.  In the original thesis completed for this robot by Jonathon Nistler (ME 2012), suggestions were made concerning how to further improve the design.  Karl Klindworth, a mechanical engineering graduate student, has decided to refine the design with a small team of skilled individuals and then prepare a new thesis on the results.  

Description:
Over the course of the timeline, the group aims to successfully accomplish the following:
Construct the four encoders
Implement the DC motor controllers
Implement stepper motor controllers
Integrate the sensors
Troubleshoot current issues
Implement a test plan
Write a thesis
